We all express and like to receive love in different ways or “languages”. In fact, Gary Chapman asserts there are 5 Languages of Love that describe each person’s emotional communication preference: Words of Affirmation, Acts of Service, Receiving Gifts, Quality Time and Physical Touch.
By knowing the primary love language of yourself and your loved ones, you can connect with them more intimately by expressing your love to them in ways that are most meaningful to them, and vice versa.
It’s useful even in a professional context: by knowing how your colleagues or employees feel loved, you can tailor recognition specifically to what makes them feel best rewarded for a job well done.

What are your results? Were you surprised or did you (and your loved ones) already know the answer?
